In light of the Covid-19 situation, the Scottish Government is asking that young people aged 5-21 who rely on public bus services for essential travel apply for the free bus scheme at this time.

Kirkwall Flood Barriers Deployed with High Tides and Winds Expected
Motorists in Kirkwall have been asked to remove their cars from the Ayre Road car park and Kirkwall harbour area as soon as possible this afternoon (3 January) as the Council puts in place flood barriers to protect against poor weather conditions late tonight and into tomorrow.
