Less Than Market Value – LMV
The Scottish Crown Estate Act 2019 places a duty on managers of Scottish Crown Estate assets to secure market value for use of assets. It is possible to make a transaction for less than market value given proof of demonstratable benefits that contribute to promotion or improvement in Scotland of:
- economic development
- regeneration
- social wellbeing
- environmental wellbeing
- sustainable development
