What to do when you have new staff / staff changing roles

Good news for managers and administrators: less paperwork – more automation!

If you take on a new member of staff, or have a colleague moving roles within OIC, our process is changing.

Starting this week IT will no longer be accepting the old New User forms or Staff Changes forms.

Instead, let us know about new staff (or staff changing roles/leaving) by using the new online form.

  • Ideally, the person’s line manager should do this (since the line manager will know all the details and is often the budget holder).
  • The CSP forwards the information to multiple departments across OIC, minimizing the amount of emails you need to send.

At the moment, if your new colleague requires a work phone or access to Paris, we will still ask you to fill in those forms, but we’re hoping to integrate them in the future.
