Orkney Islands Council has made the above named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while public utility services are connected to an adjacent development.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 27 January 2020 for the period until and including Sunday 2 February 2020 and its effect will be to close Burnmouth Road, Kirkwall between its junctions with Great Western Road and Burgh Road when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the length of road is closed.
