The Orkney Islands Council (Groatsetter Road and Shore Road, Tankerness) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the installation of a new water mains.

The Order will be in operation from Monday 1 April 2024 to Friday 2 August 2024. The effect of the Order will be to close Groatsetter Road and Shore Road (between the properties Hawell and Stenswick), Tankerness, when required.

Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
