Future Priorities
We want Orkney to be a great place to live, work and grow up, now and in the future. This section sets out some of the bigger, longer-term priorities we are working on - from tackling climate change to making the most of the opportunities presented by the Islands Deal.
Your views matter to us. The feedback we receive from residents, businesses and communities helps shape our plans and priorities. We may not always be able to please everyone, but we do take the majority view seriously, alongside local and national data, when deciding how to improve life in Orkney.
