How the Council works
We are committed to being open about how we work. This section covers who your elected councillors are, how the Council is structured and led, how we measure our performance, and how we approach equality, diversity and inclusion.
Your councillors
There are six multi-member wards across Orkney, each represented by three or four Councillors.
Our structure
We are led by our Chief Executive and a team of Corporate Directors, each responsible for a group of services.
Equality, diversity and inclusion
We believe that everyone who works here, and everyone who uses our services, should feel valued and respected.
How we're performing
We are committed to being open and transparent about how we are delivering services for the people of Orkney.
