The Council will be carrying out essential repairs to Albert Street, Bridge Street and Victoria Street, Kirkwall, over the latter part of this week and next week.
On Thursday and Friday this week (31 August and 1 September), the works will be taking place in Albert Street, Bridge Street and Victoria Street.
Next week, the works will take place in Victoria Street only, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (6,7 and 8 September).
The roads will be closed to vehicular traffic from 09:00am to 16:00pm on each day of the works, however pedestrian access will be unaffected.
The Council apologies for any inconvenience and thanks drivers in advance for their patience and cooperation during the works.
