Four candidates have put their names forward to stand in the North Isles by-election.
The deadline for nominations for the poll closed at 16:00 this afternoon (Monday 31 August).
The candidates whose names will appear on the ballot paper are:
- Daniel James Adams.
- Coilla Anne Drake – Scottish Labour Party.
- Claire Stevens – Independent.
- Heather Woodbridge – Independent.
The by-election will be held on Thursday 1 October 2020 to elect a Councillor to serve the North Isles ward on Orkney Islands Council.
