Day services

Our day centres provide activities, social support and therapeutic care for older people and adults with disabilities. They help people live as independently as possible in their own homes and communities, and give carers a regular break.

There is no charge for standard services, but there is a charge for lunch.

Gilbertson Day Centre (Kirkwall)

This centre serves east Orkney Mainland, including Kirkwall and the linked southern isles.

West Mainland Day Centre (Dounby)

This centre serves the west of Orkney Mainland, including Stromness and west from Finstown and Orphir.

The Kalisgarth Centre (Westray)

This centre serves the island of Westray.

Glaitness Centre (Kirkwall)

This centre is for people aged 16 to 65 who have physical disabilities or sensory impairments.
