Childminders
There are a number of childminders that offer childcare in Orkney. All childminders should be registered with the Care Inspectorate and you can search for their details and their inspection reports by following the Care Inspectorate website.
Some childminders are in partnership with the Council and can offer up to 1140 hours of free early learning and childcare. You can choose to have a Blended placement where you split your hours between your local authority setting and a partnership.
