A shared determination to work closely with colleagues to achieve the best for Orkney shone through at this year’s finals of Orkney Islands Council’s VIP Awards held today (Friday 20 June).

The Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA) are working in partnership with Orkney Islands Council to launch a free training and support programme aimed at encouraging folk to become new professional childminders, in a bid to help address childcare shortages in the county.
