Youth accrediations and awards

We work with schools, services and community organisations to give young people the chance to gain recognised awards and accreditations for their achievements - in a wide range of settings, both in and outside school.

Dynamic Youth Awards

Dynamic Youth Awards are peer-assessed awards recognising the contributions and achievements of young people aged 10 to 14. They are easy to use and can be incorporated into existing youth work and school programmes. Young people self-assess and then peer-assess each other's achievements, encouraging them to take increasing responsibility for their own development.

The awards are accredited by ASDAN and credit-rated at SCQF Level 3 by SQA. They can also be used as a stepping stone to the Youth Achievement Awards.

Youth Achievement Awards

The Youth Achievement Awards recognise and accredit young people's achievements in a variety of settings, both within and outside school, for those aged 12 to 25. They are progressively structured, encouraging continuing participation and increasing responsibility, and can be used as a progression route from the Dynamic Youth Awards.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award gives young people aged 14 to 24 the chance to build skills for work and life, fulfil their potential and have a brighter future. There are three levels - Bronze, Silver and Gold - each made up of four sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition, with a fifth residential section required for Gold.

The best part is that you get to choose what you do. Your programme can be full of activities that get you buzzing, and along the way you will pick up experiences, friends and talents that will stay with you for life. The Award is recognised by universities and employers across the UK.

Hi5 Awards

The Hi5 Award is an introductory youth award designed to build confidence and recognise achievements in a fun and accessible way for younger children.

Participatory Democracy Certificate

The Participatory Democracy Certificate helps young people develop the knowledge and skills to engage in democratic processes and community life.
