The Orkney Islands Council (Orkney Folk Festival) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the Orkney Folk Festival. The Order shall be in operation from Thursday, 23 May 2024 to Monday 27 May 2024 and its effect will be to:

Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the holding of the Boys Brigade Parade.

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the building of two properties.

Temporary Closure of Roads in Kirkwall for Norwegian Constitution Day
Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to the effect that, in connection with Norwegian Constitution Day, the roads referred to in the schedule below will be closed and parking will not be permitted on Friday, 17 May 2024 between the hours of 1130 and 1330. Emergency service vehicles are exempt from the prohibition.

Temporary Closure of Roads in Kirkwall for Norwegian Constitution Day
Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to the effect that, in connection with Norwegian Constitution Day, the roads referred to in the schedule below will be closed and parking will not be permitted on Friday, 17 May 2024 between the hours of 1130 and 1330. Emergency service vehicles are exempt from the prohibition.
