The Orkney Islands Council (Disabled On-Street Parking Places) Order 2026

On 10 September 2026, Orkney Islands Council made the above-named order under Section 45 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which comes into operation on 28 September 2026, will be to create disabled on-street parking places at the following locations:

35 Laverock Road, Kirkwall.

12 Strombery, Kirkwall.

16 St Rognvald Street, Kirkwall.

14 Market Green, Dounby.

A copy of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at Customer Services, Council Offices, Kirkwall, Orkney KW15 1NY (10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday) and at Warehouse Buildings, 2-12 Victoria Street, Stromness, Orkney KW16 3AA (10:00 to12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday and 12:00 to 15:00 on Saturdays) and online at www.orkney.gov.uk.
