The Orkney Islands Council (Viewforth Road, Burray) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users while Andrew Sinclair Ltd and SSEN, carry out repairs to poles and overhead power lines.

The Order will be in operation from 28 September 2026 to 4 October 2026. The effect of the Order will be to close Viewforth Road, Burray, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a length of road is closed.
