Many more unpaid carers in Scotland – including Orkney - can now apply for a new benefit. 

Orkney Islands Council is reminding householders there will be reduced kerbside recycling collections over the festive period - with reduced collections and eight weeks between collection of some recyclables streams.

Councillors at tomorrow’s meeting of the Council’s Monitoring and Audit Committee (14 November 2024) will be presented with a report on the number of representations received from the public about the services the Council provides.
