Five candidates have put their names forward to stand for the Orkney Islands Constituency in the Scottish Parliament Election in May. 

Notice is hereby given by Derek Brown, Regional Returning Officer, of the Election Agents appointed by parties and individual candidates for the Scottish Parliament election in the Highlands and Islands Region on Thursday 7 May 2026.

The following candidates have been nominated for election as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Orkney Islands Constituency. A poll will be held on Thursday 7 May 2026 between 7am and 10pm.

New bus and cycle shelters installed across Orkney
