Sanday Wreck nominated for Rescue project of the year

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while general carriageway repairs and maintenance are carried out.

The Orkney Islands Council (20 mph Speed Limit) (Various Roads in Kirkwall, Orkney) Order 2025
On 17 November 2025, Orkney Islands Council made the above-named order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which comes into operation on 8 December 2025, will be to create a twenty miles per hour speed limit on various sections of roads in Kirkwall.

On 17 November 2025, Orkney Islands Council made the above-named order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
