Dementia Awareness Week starts on Monday 27 May, and there is a fantastic array of events on offer to raise awareness and showcase some of the supports and activities available - from special cinema screenings and singalongs to a bingo bonanza, there's something for everyone!

Local school pupils have been given an insight into careers in social care thanks to a partnership initiative between Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Orkney and St Rognvald’s House in Kirkwall.
