What we do

We deliver financial services across five main areas.

Corporate Finance - managing cash flow, borrowing and investments, supporting capital investment decisions, and insuring Council assets.

Payments - managing supplier payments, purchase ledger and invoicing, and making sure income owed to the Council is collected efficiently and on time.

Payroll and Pensions - delivering payroll services for Council employees and pensioners, including administration of statutory payments and the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Revenues and Benefits - administering Council Tax, Non-Domestic Rates and housing benefits, and supporting residents to access the financial help they are entitled to.

Strategic Finance - supporting budgets and accounting across the Council, including financial reporting, statutory accounts, budgeting and longer-term financial planning, all aligned with the Council's priorities.
