A Business Improvement District (BID) is an area where local businesses collectively fund and deliver improvements to their trading environment.
Kirkwall has a Business Improvement District which funds and delivers improvements to the town centre. We issue and collect the BID levy on behalf of the BID, with the money going directly to fund local projects and services.
