Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during high level inspections / surveys and maintenance works to be carried out on various buildings.

Polling will take place between the hours of 7.00 am and 10.00 pm on Thursday 28 March 2024 for the election of a councillor for the Stromness & South Isles electoral ward, there remaining more validly nominated candidates than the number of councillors to be elected.
