Review of Local Development Plan – Evidence Report
The Orkney Local Development Plan (OLDP) Evidence Report has now been submitted to the Scottish Government Division for Planning and Environmental Appeals (DPEA) for the Gatecheck.
The Evidence Report sets out the baseline information and data that will inform the new OLDP. The Report has been allocated to a Reporter at the DPEA who will consider whether or not Orkney’s report is a sufficient evidence base on which we can prepare the new OLDP.
To view the Evidence Report and other relevant information, please visit the DPEA Gatecheck.
Alongside the Evidence Report, Development and Marine Planning have undertaken/prepared the following:
- Call for Ideas/Land Submission
- Play Sufficiency Assessment
- Invitation to Create Local Place Plans
- Trees and Woodland Strategy
- Self-Build List
Further information on the review of the Plan, including our most recent Newsletter, is available on our Review of Local Development Plan page.
