Site Inspections

Inspections carried out at various stages of building projects are vital in making sure proper standards are maintained. Our Building Standards team must be notified when work starts on site, when the drains are ready for inspection and testing, and when the work is finished. Additional site inspections are also recommended during the course of the project. Our Building Standards Inspectors will carry out the check on the work.

A Construction Compliance and Notification Plan (CCNP) outlines the inspections that the building standards verifier plans to undertake at specific stages of construction work. The CCNP is issued with the building warrant and guides developers on when to notify the local authority for inspections, ensuring compliance with building standards.
