What do you think of the library service?

Date: 3 July 2017

Time: 12:38

The Orkney Library and Archive is looking to hear the views of local folk about the services they provide.

A survey has been produced aimed at gathering views on the range of events and facilities - including online services - which are provided, how these are publicised and the opening hours of the libraries and archives.

Principal Librarian Karen Walker said: “We know that our library service is well valued within our community but we’re keen to hear from local folk about what they value the most and where improvements could be made.

“We’d especially like to hear from folk who have been members in the past or who have never joined the library, about what might encourage them to join or visit again.”

You can access an online version of the survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/OrkneyLibrary

Paper copies are available from the Orkney Library in Kirkwall and the Warehouse Buildings in Stromness, or from the mobile library.

The survey runs until 16 August.
