The Orkney Islands Council (Science Festival Vintage Club Event) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during a Science Festival Vintage Club Event.

The Order will be in operation on Saturday, 6 September 2025 between 1230 and 1730 and its effect will be to close (1) Albert Street from Laing Street to Broad Street; (2) Broad Street from Albert Street to Palace Road; (3) Broad Street Car Park; and (4) Castle Street from Broad Street to car park Exit, all in Kirkwall, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road or car park is closed.
