The Orkney Islands Council (Orkney Blues Festival Motorcycle Event) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during a Orkney Blues Festival Motorcycle Event.

The Order will be in operation on Sunday 26th April 2026 from 12.00 to 16.00 and its effect will be to close (1) John Street; (2) Victoria Street from the Ferry Inn to Church Road; and (3) Ferry Road from the Ferry Terminal Car Park exit to Victoria Street, all in Stromness, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
