The Orkney Islands Council (Openreach South Ronaldsay Application 5) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users while Openreach carry out utility works.

The Order will be in operation from Wednesday, 29 October 2025 to Saturday, 28 February 2026. The effect of the Order will be to close the B9043; Lowertown Road; School Road (B9043); Hoxa Road; Uppertown Road; Ontoft Road; and Pier Road, all South Ronaldsay, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a length of road is closed.
