The Orkney Islands Council (Christmas Tree Lighting Event, St Margaret’s Hope) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users to enable a Christmas tree lighting event in St Margaret’s Hope to be held in safety.
The Order will be in operation on Friday, 1 December 2023, between the hours of 18:00 and 20:00 and its effect will be to close Cromarty Square, St Margaret’s Hope, when required.
Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
