The Orkney Islands Council (Broad Street and Car Park, Kirkwall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 and all other enabling powers to enable Kirkwall Bid to hold events in the Broad Street car park and Broad street, Kirkwall.

The Order will come into operation (1) in respect of Broad Street car park from 31January 2024 to 6 February 2024; and (2) in respect of Broad Street from 1 February 2024 to 4 February 2024 between the hours of 15:30 and 19:30 each day.

The effect of the Order will be  to close the Broad Street car park and Broad Street, Kirkwall on the dates and between the hours specified. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the  Broad Street car park and Broad Street are closed.
