The Orkney Islands Council (Bridge Street and Albert Street, Kirkwall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users while Andrew Sinclair Ltd, on behalf of Scottish Water, carry out the investigation and repair of a sewer.

The Order will be in operation from Monday 2 February 2026 to Sunday 8 February 2026. The effect of the Order will be to close Bridge Street and, Albert Street, both  Kirkwall, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a length of road is closed.
