The Orkney Islands Council (B9053 OLD SCAPA ROAD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users while Orkney Islands Council’s operational team carry out essential road maintenance works.
The Order will be in operation from 7 April to 31 December 2026.The effect of the Order will be to close the B9053 from Old Scapa Road to New Scapa Road, when required.
