Temporary Closure of Roads in Finstown for Boys Brigade Parade

Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the holding of a Boys Brigade Parade in Finstown.

The effect of the Order will be to close, on Sunday 26 April 2026, (1) Old Finstown Road from Jib Park to A965 Junction; (2) A965 from Old Finstown Road Junction to A966 Junction; (3) Jewadale Drive from number 20 to A965 Junction; (4) Heddle Road, from Grimond Road Junction to A965 Junction; and (5) Acre Lea, all Finstown.

Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
