Temporary Closure of Roads for Boys Brigade Parade

Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the holding of the Boys Brigade Parade.

The order will be in operation on Sunday 27 April 2025 from 1000 to 1300. The effect of the Order will be to close the roads specified in the Schedule below between the hours on the date stated. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.

Schedule Referred To:
(1) Thoms Street; (2) Palace Road; and (3) Dundas Crescent (from Thoms Street Junction to Palace Road Junction), all Kirkwall.
