Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board

The Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board has received four applications for occasional licences to run concurrently  –

Applicant: Historic Environment Scotland Enterprises Ltd, Salisbury Place, Edinburgh, EH9 1SH.

Premises for Event: Maeshowe Visitor Centre, Ireland Road, Stenness, Orkney, KW16 3LB.

Duration of Licence: 10:00 – 17:30 daily from Monday 11 August to Sunday 5 October 2025 inclusive.

Nature of Event: Visitor centre and retail shop offering off-sales, tastings and ordering of alcoholic beverages. 

Whether alcohol will be consumed on the premises, or off, or both: Off.

Date by which objections must be made: 24 July 2025.

Any objections and/or representations must be made to the Clerk to the Licensing Board, Council Offices, Kirkwall, KW15 1NY. The preferred method of submission is via email to licensing@orkney.gov.uk.
