Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board

The Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board has received the following application for occasional licence -

Applicant: Orkney Science Festival per Helen A Muir, Habreck, Holm Road, Kirkwall, Orkney, KW15 1RT.

Premises for Events: Peedie Kirk Hall, Palace Road, Kirkwall, Orkney, KW15 1PA.

Duration of Licence: 12:30 to 14:00 daily from Friday 4 September to Wednesday 9 September 2026; and 19:30 to 22:30 on Wednesday 9 September 2026.

Nature of Event: Orkney Science Festival daily lunches and Closing Ceilidh.      

Whether alcohol will be consumed on the premises, or off, or both: On.

Date by which objections must be made: 18 August 2026.

Any objections and/or representations must be made to the Clerk to the Licensing Board, Council Offices, Kirkwall, KW15 1NY. The preferred method of submission is via email to licensing@orkney.gov.uk.
