Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board

The Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board has received the following application for occasional licence –

Applicant: Iain Laird, 7 Macdonald Park, St Margaret’s Hope, Orkney, KW17 2AL.

Premises for Events: Marquee located within the Grounds of The Pickaquoy Centre, Muddisdale Road, Kirkwall, Orkney, KW15 1LR.

Duration of Licence:

• 17:00 on Saturday 8 August to 01:00 on Sunday 9 August 2026; and
• 12:00 to 24:00 on Sunday 9 August 2026.

Nature of Events:

• Parish Cup Football;
• County Show Night Marquee Dance; and
• Roots to Roots Music Festival.    

Whether alcohol will be consumed on the premises, or off, or both: On.

Date by which objections must be made: 7 July 2026.
