The final major piece of work to ready the buildings at the Scapa Flow Museum for redevelopment will get underway this week.

Due to mechanical issues the refuse collection in Westray is being postponed.

Surface dressing is set to continue tomorrow (Wednesday 18 July) on the B9047 (the main Moaness - Lyness - Longhope road) on a 1km section either side of Lyrawa Bay in North Hoy.

Surface dressing will take place in Hoy this week, with full road closures in place while work is carried out.
