Current Taxi Fares

This document contains the maximum taxi fares and charges for Orkney’s Mainland and linked South Isles for 2026/27, effective from 1 May 2026. It sets first-mile fares of £6.50 to £8.50, further-mile rates of £2.50 to £3.50, and different tariffs for evenings, weekends, County Show Day and holiday periods. It also covers extra charges, waiting time, booking fees, vehicle fouling and touring rates, including higher fares for vehicles carrying more than four passengers.
