Community transport
We provide grant funding for community transport projects through the Community Transport Grant Scheme, with match funding from the Sustainable and Green Transport Fund. These projects operate under the Orkney Community Connect banner, providing door-to-door and demand-responsive transport for people who cannot easily access public bus or ferry services.

There are several schemes offering free or discounted travel for eligible residents. If you need help applying or would like a paper form please contact us.
