Heritage Development

As well as managing a number of museums and interpretation centres, St Magnus Cathedral, the arts development service and facilitating the community planning forums for arts and heritage, the Arts, Museums and Heritage Service offers a range of support and advice to the museums and heritage sector in Orkney.  It can act as Curatorial Advisor for museums applying for Accreditation status as well as providing specialist advice on fundraising, museum exhibition and display, collections management and documentation, strategic development, education projects, marketing, object loans and developing policies for managing a museum or heritage centre.
