With around 2,000 staff serving a population of 21,400 we are the largest employer in Orkney. Although we are the smallest local authority in Scotland we have big opportunities and challenges.

People are at the heart of everything we do and to ensure we deliver essential services for the people of Orkney we want to be sure that employees are clear on their role and their work-related objectives, and are acknowledged for the great work they do.
