Clubgolf is Scotland’s junior golf development programme which was established as a legacy to Scotland’s staging of the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. It introduces children to golf and supports the early development of young golfers through structured coaching.
Clubgolf aims to give children aged nine a first introduction to golf in primary school. It is designed as a fun activity using colourful, modified golf equipment. Taster sessions are delivered in schools by Active School Coordinators and volunteers from local clubs, creating strong partnership working with local clubs, helping to promote and increase junior memberships.
