Campsites and Hostels
Welcome
Orkney Islands Council operate two campsites and three hostels, offering comfortable, great value accommodation.
- The Hoy Centre and Rackwick Hostel are both located on the island of Hoy.
- The Birsay Hostel and Campsite are located on the west mainland of Orkney, with Point of Ness Campsite located in Stromness.
The hostels welcome singles, groups and families with exclusive room or whole hostel hire available. The campsites are suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with toilets, showers and washing facilities on site.

We would encourage members of the public to use the online booking system as telephone and email bookings will incur an additional admin charge.
