The Council aims to improve its benefits service by monitoring and reporting its performance to help identify risks to continuous improvement.
Each year the Council prepares a Benefits Business Plan and a Fraud Prevention and Investigation Plan to set out the specific objectives and targets of the Housing Benefit service and to compare performance against previous years.
