Orkney Islands Council maintains a stock of approximately 276 garages, which are mostly located, adjacent to council owned houses in various parts of Orkney. They are let at a rent that will be reviewed periodically and published. We also have approximately 16 plots of land available for let for the purpose of building a garage on.

Garage Allocation Policy

Orkney Islands Council has a Garage Allocation Policy that sets out how the Council manages applications to rent the garages and the priorities used when allocations are made. A copy of the allocation policy is available in the Related Downloads section of this web page.
