Bereavement Support
The loss of a family member, friend or loved one is a traumatic experience that no one should go through alone. In Orkney, there are a variety of services on offer than can help people plan their way through the process of organising a funeral.
There are also several counselling centres available in the county that can provide advice and assistance throughout the bereavement process.

CRUSE is a national organisation offering support to the bereaved through counselling and social activities. The Orkney branch of CRUSE started in 1991 and holds regular social meetings and covers all areas of the county.
