Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of site personnel, pedestrians and cyclists while utility connection works are carried out at an adjacent property.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 10 August 2020 for the period until and including Sunday 16 August 2020 and its effect will be to close the foot and cycle track between Thoms Street and Willow Road, Kirkwall to pedestrians and cyclists. Signs will be erected to indicate when the foot and cycle track is closed.
