The Orkney Islands Council (King Haakon Street, Kirkwall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2021

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while works are carried out on behalf of Scottish and Southern Electricity Network to enable the replacement of an electricity sub-station.

The Order will come into operation on Monday 27 September 2021 for the period until and including Sunday 3 October 2021 and its effect will be to close King Haakon Street, Kirkwall, between Clay Loan and No. 3 King Haakon Street, Kirkwall, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
